It’s not too late to register your wrestler(s) for the 2011-2012 season! Just stop by any ESW practice (Monday through Thursday, 6:30-8:00pm at the Evanston Township High School wrestling room).

Summer wrestling camp is here! Camps for all levels will run from June 14 through July 7, meeting from 6-8pm Tues, Wed and Thurs each week. Please click here to view the flier for more details and to register.

• Elementary aged kids are included even though the flier states middle and high school ages
• All completed registration forms and fees should be returned to ETHS, Attn: Athletic Department
• Please make checks payable to Evanston Township High School (not ESW)

Movie Outing
You are invited to join the ESW wrestling family for a movie outing at The New 400 Theaters (6746 N Sheridan Rd, Chicago) this Sunday, April 17. The movie will be RIO (rated G) and will begin at 1:00pm. Accordingly, please plan to arrive by 12:30pm in order to get everyone situated in time. A huge thank you to Izzy’s dad, Tony Fox, for opening his theater to the entire ESW family!
 
 

Spring Wrestling
The ETHS wrestling room opened Tuesday for freestyle wrestling practice! The room will be open on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6-7pm for the next 4 weeks. This is open to all interested wrestlers and free for all current ESW members. Please try to bring a partner to workout and wrestle with.

Movie Outing
You are invited to join the ESW wrestling family for a movie outing at The New 400 Theaters (6746 N Sheridan Rd, Chicago) on Sunday, April 17. The movie is TBD (likely either Diary of a Wimpy Kid or Hop) but will begin at 12:15pm. Accordingly, please plan to arrive as early as 11:30am in order to get everyone situated in time. A huge thank you to Izzy’s dad, Tony Fox, for opening his theater to the entire ESW family!

For those wrestlers that qualified for Sectionals, please see below for weigh-in and tournament info.

Weigh-Ins – 2 options

• Friday March 4 at St. Patrick High School (5900 W Belmont Ave, Chicago; use Austin Ave entrance) from 6pm to 9pm
• Saturday March 5 at East Leyden High School (3400 Rose St, Franklin Park) from 6am to 7am

Tournament

• Saturday, March 5 at East Leyden High School (3400 Rose St, Franklin Park) starting at 9am
• Wrestlers should report at 7:30am on Sat (unless of course you are weighing-in that morning, then you need to do so by 7am)
• Reminder: wrestlers will need to make the same weight class they wrestled at this past weekend at Regionals
